Detailed description : The apartment is situated a mere 500 metres from the beach and also has a communal swimming pool, accommodation is well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Sleeping 4-6 people, there are two twin bedrooms and a sofabed in the lounge. The large rooftop sun terrace has a barbecue area and views of both the sea and the mountains. General description : Kitchen area : Washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle Living area : Sofabed and two chairs, TV, DVD Player, CD Player Dining area : Dining table and 4 chairs Bathroom(s) : Bath, shower, toilet and bidet Bedroom(s) : Both bedrooms have twin beds, fitted wardrobes and drawers Outside : Rooftop solarium, balcony from lounge with table and chairs Other information : Resort description : The Mar Menor (mini-sea) is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe situated off the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa Calida, between Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca. The lagoon is divided from the Mediterranean by the La Manga strip, a natural breakwater almost 22km long, which has progressively enclosed it. There are wonderful sailing and water skiing facilities on the lagoon, it is non-tidal, crystal clear and shallow throughout with an average water temperature of 23�c. This safe environment makes it the ideal beach holiday for families with children. The bay is famous for visitors with rheumatic, arthritic and skin problems, at one part of the beach there is a natural mud bath which offers therapeutic results in comparison to the Black Sea. This area of Spain enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine a year and the climate is recommended by the World Health organisations as one of healthiest environments to live in Europe. Long warm summers and mild sunny winters make this an all year round destination for active or leisurely breaks.
