Detailed description : The property comprises 4 fully furnished apartments (flats) each with their own lounge, kitchen, bathroom, hall, and bedroom which either has a double or twin beds. The apartments are within a traditional Scottish small tenement building dating from 1860 and positioned within a couple of hundred yards of the town centre and all amenities. A large Free car park is 50m away, and the town centre is a level 2 minute walk. The lovely old seaside town of Largs is only 25 miles from Glasgow (GLA) Airport and 21 miles from Glasgow (PIK) International airport, and it has its own train station. Our website shows photos and gives better descriptions of the apartments and the touristic facilities that Largs has to offer the holidaymaker. Also within a 2 minute walk is the local library where you can obtain free use of internet attached computers to keep in contact with you family, friends, or business back home. We pride ourselves in providing very clean, good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Kitchen area : Fully fitted with washer/drier, electric cooker, microwave, coffemaker, kettle, all utensils, crockery, etc.
Living area : 2 sofa, one of which is a sofabed. Satellite TV, DVD player, Stereo system.
Dining area : Depending on apartment chosen, this is either within the kitchen or the lounge.
Bathroom(s) : Depending on apartment chosen, this has either a shower cubicle or a bath with shower over.
Bedroom(s) : Depending on apartment chosen, this has either a double bed or twin singles. Fully fitted with wardrobe etc.
Outside : Small patio at rear of building with a drying green and rotary clothes drier.

Resort description : Largs is a small seaside town situated on the south-west coast of Ayrshire in Scotland and it is one of the very few remaining traditional Scottish holiday resorts. The town is surrounded by gentle hills with waterfalls and small cliffs so favoured by hillwalkers who are rewarded with spectacular views of the nearby islands of Cumbrae and Arran. In the town centre we have pier where you can take a 20 minute ferry ride to Cumbrae and then hire a cycle to go around the coast road (approx 10 miles) and see this unspoilt and charming island with its many landmarks and world-famous watersports centre where you can learn to windsurf or sail a dinghy or canoe. The PS Waverley, which is the world’s last ocean-going paddle steamer, sails regularly during the summer season and gives visitors the opportunity to see the spectacular scenery that Scotland is famous for. Families with young children really need to make a point of visiting Kelburn Country Park and explore the Secret Forest with its small castles, prison, crocodile pit, adventure course and many more features. You can hire a horse and go pony trekking and smaller children can have an accompanied paddock ride. The town also has 2 golf courses, 2 putting greens, 3 bowling greens, 2 public parks, a skateboard park, 3 toddlers adventure playparks, a toddlers fairground, Trout fishery, a large yacht marina, a sailing club, a 2-mile long esplanade, a Viking Experience exhibition hall, an indoor swimming pool, 2 fitness gyms. There are excellent restaurants, lounge bars, cafes, and traditional Scottish pubs. The town is well served medically and has a brand new Medical Centre. There are also 9 different churches in the town. The town is well served by public transport and has its own railway station which allows easy trips to Glasgow, and Ayr. There are also privately operated coach tours taking visitors to almost every part of Scotland. Despite its size, Largs really does have something to offer everyone.

Booking conditions : Bookings are from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am. Bookings are only accepted as confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 25% of the total cost. The balance of the cost is due 42 days prior to arrival. A copy of the booking form is attached. It is advisable to check availability particularly in high season or for popular events. Once we receive your booking form and deposit, you should receive a letter of confirmation within seven days.
Changeover information : Saturday unless agreed otherwise.
